Setting up Pro
Three steps, about five minutes. You need the zip file and the licence key from your receipt email.
1. Install the free plugin first
Pro adds features to the free Importundo plugin, so that one goes in first. In your WordPress admin: Plugins → Add New, search for Importundo, install and activate it. If it is already running, skip this step.
2. Install the Pro zip
Download importundo-pro.zip from your receipt. Then: Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the zip, install, activate. Do not unzip it first — WordPress wants the zip as it is.
3. Activate your licence key
Open Importundo → Settings. At the bottom there is an Importundo Pro licence box. Paste the key from your receipt email and press Activate.
That is all. The Pro features appear in the importer where they belong — the web-address box on the import screen, templates in the menu, export buttons on the history screen, the retention setting in settings.
Updates
Nothing to set up. A licensed site sees Pro updates on the normal Plugins screen, like any other plugin, within half a day of a release.
Moving to another site
A Pro licence covers one site at a time. On the old site, press Deactivate on this site in the licence box — that frees the seat — then activate the same key on the new site. Pro Agency covers unlimited sites, so it skips this dance.
If something does not work
- The key is refused: copy the whole key line from the receipt email — a missed character is the usual cause. The error on screen says what the licence service said.
- "Already active on its full number of sites": deactivate it on the old site first, or upgrade to Pro Agency.
- Anything else: email info+importundo@xnssi.fi and include what the screen says. Pro includes priority support — you will hear back.
